What is the price per problem and how much experience does it grant?

The price per toss is a simple 5gp with a mud-staff. The experience provided is 29. You will obtain approximately 30k exp hourly, and drop around 5k hourly.

How does cursing work out against higher alching?

Currently, the most well-known strategy is higher alching. High alching funds 65 exp per toss and usually around 65k exp hourly. The price to higher alch is around 100gp per toss or 100k gp hourly.

Rough Conclusion: Cursing gives approximately 50 % exp and is 20 periods more cost-effective than higher alchemy. Even if you discover something to alch that only expenditures 50gp per toss, you will still drop 10x more.
